Tiara

“Tiara” sounds like a little piece of poetry, doesn’t it? Its meaning points right to that feeling: a crown or headdress symbolizing royalty. The name traces back to Latin, with its path going through Italian, where “tiara” became a familiar word for that regal style.

And that early 19th-century rise as a given name matters. It was the kind of name people chose when they wanted a sense of ceremony, elegance, and presence. In the United States, Tiara especially took off in the 1990s, then settled into rarer, steady use.

When you hear “Tiara,” you might also catch its musical neighbors: Tyra, Tiera, Tierra, and “Tiannah,” each with its own sound and flair.

If you’ve ever felt like your name carries a spotlight, you’re not imagining it. People often associate Tiara with elegance, confidence, and leadership. And fun fact, it gained extra popularity after Princess Diana wore tiaras frequently. Your name isn’t just pretty, it’s history you can wear.
