Ethan

Ethan. What a name to carry through life. It comes from the ancient Hebrew word meaning strong and firm. Not strong in a loud, showy way - but strong in the way of deep roots. Steady. Grounded. The kind of strength that holds when everything around it bends. And this name is old. We're talking Biblical old. Ethan appears in the Hebrew scriptures as a man of great wisdom - so wise that his name became a kind of shorthand for wisdom itself. Over thousands of years, this name has traveled across languages and cultures. In Hebrew it lives as Eitan - with that same beautiful, firm energy. And somewhere along the way, Ethan landed in the English-speaking world and never left. In fact, in the 2000s, it became one of the most beloved names parents chose for their sons - and it remains popular to this day. That kind of staying power says something. If you look around at the Ethans the world has known - Ethan Hawke, one of the most respected and fearless actors of his generation. Or Ethan Hunt, the fictional spy who somehow manages to make the impossible look routine. There is a thread running through all of them - that confidence, that independence, that quiet sense of knowing where you stand. Your name day, by the way, falls on January the 21st. A small celebration just for you, tucked into the calendar. So if your name is Ethan - you are carrying something ancient, something strong, and something genuinely beautiful. A name that has been trusted for thousands of years. And here you are, still wearing it perfectly.
