Corina

Corina is a name that feels both gentle and strong, because its meaning reaches into Greek for “maiden” and “virgin.” In other words, it carries the idea of purity and becoming, the early light of someone just stepping into their own story.

Corina is Greek in origin, with roots right in the Greek language. The name gained recorded use in the 1980s, and since then it has stayed special and comparatively rare today. That rarity is part of why it feels personal. People don’t just say Corina, they remember it.

You may hear Corinna, Korina, or Corinna written differently, and the sound shifts enough to feel like its own flavor. But it’s still your name at heart, the same Greek spirit, the same elegant presence.

There’s also a creativity tied to Corina. It’s connected with people who are creative, determined, and confident. That combination is powerful: creative ideas, followed through by determination, and carried by confidence.

So if someone calls you Corina, they are not only using a beautiful word. They are speaking a meaning that goes back to Greek, and a personality that shows up as bright and determined. Your name has weight, and it feels like promise.
